Shark Tank India Season 3 has been on the go-to list for reality show lovers, and the business-reality show airing on Sony Entertainment Television and streaming on Sony Liv is enjoying a fan following that is growing gradually with every single episode. However, are the deals made on Shark Tank real?

Rumors, time and again, have suggested that the pitches made on the show are not real or the deals made on the show are not fulfilled as promised. Many times, some pitchers who participated in the show later talked against the show and made shocking revelations about the pitches and deals.

Now, with season 3, when the murmurs started doing the rounds yet again about Shark Tank India being real or unreal, a pitcher herself has come across with her set of revelations about what happens before and after in a tell-all account, making every minute detail available to the fans of the show.

Entrepreneur Simran Khara, whose company Koparo deals with coconut-based cleaning products, won a deal with 70 lakh for 1% equity. Interestingly, this was her ask as well, and Aman Gupta and Vinita Singh did not negotiate and lock the deal as it was. In a LinkedIn Post, Simran gave a massive shout-out to the show.

In fact, in an elaborate post, she declared how the process of getting a pitch selected goes through three stages – Application, Audition, and Final TV Round in Mumbai. While she was about to make her final pitch, a spot dada even gave her Prasad and offered her water to drink. These were small gestures by the team that works endlessly behind the scenes.

What Happens On The D-Day
Simran, in her post, narrated, “Once you are in the tank – you are alone. It’s one take, no cuts. The pitch is real, and the emotions are intense. Three days in the studio, no sunlight – morning to night. A demanding process, but every second, every drop of sweat, was worth it. My husband and daughter joined me in Mumbai. For two days, I returned around 10 pm, and my daughter would be asleep by then. On the last day, I reached home at 6 pm – after three days of intense studio work and grueling questions and prep.”

So, finally, Simran has confirmed that all the investments and deals made on Shark Tank India are real. To date, in this season, investments worth 33.97 crore have been made in 20 episodes.

We hope the show continues to inspire entrepreneurs in India.
